Factory Manager

South Kent

£40k - £45k DOE

Monday-Friday

A rare opportunity for a Factory Manager to join my client’s well-established organisation in South Kent. If you have previous experience working as a Production Manager or Factory Manager and are looking for a newand excitingrole, then this could be the role for you!

As a Factory Manager, you will be:

Managing all aspects of production including the creation of production plans, organising the production schedule, and allocating workload.
Working closely with the senior management team.
Leading the production team and ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
Looking at ways to increase productivity and reducing costs.
Authorising annual leave , conducting disciplinaries, return to work, and other documentation.
Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Organising routine maintenance and repairs on Factory equipment and plant machinery.
Any other duties required.

The successful Factory Manager will have / be:

Previous experience working within a Managerial role in a manufacturing environment.
Able to work to lean manufacturing and 5S principles.
The ability to bring new initiatives and ideas to contribute towards further company growth.
Able to create effective production plans whilst being cost effective.
The ability to lead a large team.
A full UK driving licence.
